Giving a quotation– the speaker used the piece of Joanne Rowling's Harvard commencement speech.

The link-element was used which made introduction coherent and logical.

«an introduction can “make” or “break” you as a speaker because it sets the tone for the remainder of speech.»
How effective was the introduction?
The introduction was quite effective, but in my opinion, the quotation did not really reflect the topic.

The information was well-structured, it was divided into several parts. Every part was logically organized, all the information was clear.

 The speaker outlined each part of her speech and it was easy to follow.

The information was quite concise and clear.
Quality of point-support (appropriateness, completeness, variety)
The speaker used facts and a helpful presentation to support the topic. We also heard examples, which helped us understand and remember the information.

Giving a quotation– the speaker used Buddha’s words at the beginning of the speech.

There was not just an element, but a paragraph leading us to the thesis.
Was the thesis statement given?
It was not clearly defined, but I suppose it is «To be truly memorable you must end as strongly as you began»
How effective was the introduction?
The introduction was quite effective, but a little bit long and incoherent. In my opinion, the quotation did not really reflect the topic, and there was no preview.

The information was well-structured.
What organizational structure was used in the body of the speech?
 The body consisted of several tips, that can help us make an effective conclusion. There was plenty of information given, but sometimes it was too much.
How understandable was the information (was it clearly explained)?
The information was quite understandable.
Quality of point-support (appropriateness, completeness, variety)
The speaker explained everything and gave examples. Unfortunately, sometimes the speech was not concise and correct.

The illustrations were used and in general, I really liked the presentation. Examples were given as well.

Yes, it was quite coherent.

The speaker repeated the main ideas of the speech. I liked the words used for it. It really drew our attention to the importance of conclusion and encouraged to work properly on it.

Almost, there was no summary.

It was quite effective.
