Evaluation #1 (Polina)

   This week my groupmate gave a speech. It is difficult to be the first, but I believe we all are equal and should be evaluated honestly.

This is my evaluation:

	What technique(s) was used in the introduction?	Making a reference – the speaker referred to the audience by assuming, that the topic was familiar to them. But it was not very effective and did not draw the attention.

	How well structured was the information presented?	The information was not outlined and not organized in different chunks.
	What organizational structure was used in the body of the speech?	-
	How understandable was the information (was it clearly explained)?	The information was quite concise and clear, but the speech was not accurate.
	Quality of point-support (appropriateness, completeness, variety)	The point itself is not clearly defined, so it is difficult to analyze the arguments.
	Use of facts, illustrations, examples, stories.	The speaker used facts and illustrations to support the topic.
	Was it coherent?	Not enough
III.	Conclusion				10	3
	What technique(s) was used in the conclusion?	I would say there wasn't any conclusion at all, but the speaker emphasized the idea already mentioned and tried to encourage us to admit, that we have this problem and start working on it. But it was not clear, that the speech was going to end.
