What fear did to me
Let’s imagine the situation. You are finally outside, the weather is great, the sun is shining, the birds are singing. The world is enjoying itself. But you are not happy. You know something is wrong, something is going to happen. Your muscles are contracting, your blood pressure is high, you are sweating and dizzy - afraid, as if you are up in the sky, going to jump and don't know how this jump would end. Probably your parachute won’t open or you'll fail to open it, get panic-stricken and when falling down rapidly, losing your last hope you will experience the fear. This fear is strong and real, but not more real than stage fright, such a usual thing for most of us.
Regardless of its reason, stage fright is a feeling caused by a perceived threat, and our body responds the similar way it would respond to the life threat.

When I am experiencing stage fright, I am cold and shaking, my arms are freezing and sweating at the same time. My body thinks, that if the danger is real, the organism can be poisoned or lack oxygen and nutrition. To protect it, the heart starts pumping the blood faster, more blood is passing through blood vessels and the pressure is elevated, As a result, the head, the stomach, the chest are preparing to fight and are overheated. The body produces sweat to reduce the heat.
What is your symptom? I am thrilled to know!

It's great to know why our body reacts this or that way! Hope we will be able to be not that nervous or not that stressed. Because we just need to give a speech, and not fight anyone :)

Wow, you described it in such a detailed way that I felt the same for a second! Personally, I have such a symptom as dialted pupils.
